This is a beautiful place to visit. In the garden, you can see cacti and other desert plants that are only found in the Sonoran Desert region of North America. The gardens are open year-round with tours offered Tuesday through Sunday from 9 am-4 pm. There is also a gift shop for those who wish to take something back home after their trip!
 

The garden’s mission is to inspire appreciation of the Earth’s diverse plant life and to promote environmentally responsible gardening practices. Currently, there are over 100 acres of land with more than 50,000 plants representing 1300 different species from around the world.  
 

There are also many different animal exhibits featuring desert life such as coyotes and snakes. One highlight at Desert Botanical Garden is their bird habitat which allows for up-close viewing opportunities as well as educational tours and discussions on how they manage various birds including endangered species like the bald eagle! Other highlights include an exhibit called “The Living Wall” which illustrates how desert plants use water and nutrients differently.

Chaparral Park is home to two different animal habitats: one for wolves and coyotes, and one for prairie dogs. There’s also a petting zoo where kids can learn more about farm animals in Arizona like cows, goats, horses, and pigs.
